Depending on your nationality/passport, we encourage guests to do their own research on if an e-visa is needed. Switzerland and France are both members of the Schengen Area, which is introducing ETIAS for short stays at the end of 2026.

We suggest that you arrive at the latest by early Friday afternoon so you can get settled into your accommodation before we meet for the Welcome Drinks & Dinner. For members of the wedding party, you will be contacted separately regarding arrangements.

All events are within a short walkable distance to the Hotel Le Fer À Cheval. Although you do not need to rent a car for the weekend, it is easy to do so from Geneva airport or in the center of Megève should you wish to explore the area.

The snow is unpredictable at the end of March! We are keeping our fingers crossed for some spring skiing, but unfortunately the weather is out of our control. We expect the mountain to be open over the weekend, closing the following weekend for the season. We advise you to check the conditions in the weeks before you travel to decide if you should bring your ski equipment or not. The mountains can be accessed at multiple lifts in the area. For those staying in the center of Megève, Télécabine Le Chamois leaves from the middle of town, and there is a ski rental shop and ticketing booth at the bottom of the lift. Ski/snowboard equipment can also be rented from many other locations in town, most conveniently across the road from our venue.

We kindly request that you refer to your invitation for invited guests. Both Friday and Saturday evening events will be adults-only. We know that some guests may be traveling with children, and the hotel will be happy to assist with arranging childcare upon request if needed. A designated play/movie room will also be available during the drinks before dinner on Saturday evening. We kindly ask that children return to their rooms before guests are seated for dinner.
